At Object Insight we believe that people are what makes a company successful. We have introduced JVISION to make a difference in the ability of our customers to become better Java programmers. Our roots in Object Technology go back to the 1980's and we believe that understanding objects is key to being successful with Java. Change and learning can be a painful process and the two main barriers to the adoption of Object Technology have been cost and complexity. So we created JVISION to offer developers a less expensive and easier way to develop a better knowledge of Object Technology and thereby reap the benefits that the visualization of object models offers in processing and communicating complex problems successfully. We have only just begun with JVISION and we see an exciting future ahead for innovative thinkers to join us and turn our visions into reality.

    Java Programmers:
Marketing / Sales People:

We are considering various levels from Junior to Senior: If you meet the following criteria send a resume and cover letter.

  • Previous product development experience (commercial or corporate in-house)
  • Extensive background in Java
  • Object Technology background and knowledge about UML
  • Willing to travel between Ann Arbor, Michigan, Vancouver and San Francisco
  • Smalltalk background is a plus.
  • Interested in assisting with product support infrastructure development
  • Creative problem solving skills to contribute ideas to new add on products
  • Good human interface design abilities and technical understanding
  • Appreciation of the importance of visualization in thinking and problem solving
  • A 'No barriers, just do it' attitude
  • Enthusiasm, good communication skills, maturity, common sense and balance
  • A belief that being a part of the 'Hottest Tool' team should be fun
   We are considering various levels from Junior to Senior: If you meet the following criteria send writing samples and a resume.

  • Previous product marketing experience
  • Knowledge about the Java market and key players
  • Specific knowledge about marketing software on the web
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows and user groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing skills and knowledge of graphic design principles and tools
  • Ability to deal with cross cultural concerns in international marketing
  • A 'No barriers, just do it' attitude
  • Enthusiasm, good communication skills, maturity, common sense and balance
