When the mouse pointer changes from a simple arrow to a “+” sign, click on the screen where you want to place one end of the line, and drag to where you want he other end of the line. Release the
button when you have drawn a line you are satisfied with. The line can be drawn between classes, use cases, a use case and an actor, or on a blank screen.
