- New Diagram:
This option will let you create new Class Diagrams or Use Case Diagrams. Please see the Creating a New Diagram help pages for more details.
- Open:
This option will let you open existing JVISON diagrams. Files with the .dgm and .jvd extensions will be displayed in the Open dialog by default.
- Update:
This option will update and refresh the diagram if any changes have been made but not yet seen on the diagram.
- Save/Save as:
This option will let you save the diagram you created. The diagram will be saved with the .dgm extension.
- Close:
This option will close the diagram painter you are using right now. If more than one diagram painter is opened, then the diagram painter will simply close after you have decided
whether or not to save your diagram. If only one diagram painter is opened, then a dialog box will appear, asking if you want to “Close All Windows and Exit JVISION?” Answer yes to close
the diagram and JVISION.
- Page setup:
This option will let you set the page settings (margins, header/footer, and frame) for print.
- Print:
This option will let you print the diagram. This is where you can specify scaling, orientation (landscape/portrait), and printing type before printing.
- List of diagrams most recently opened:
This option will let you open one of the 4 most recently opened diagrams.
- Exit:
This option will close all Diagram Painters currently opened and exit JVISION if you select Yes for the "Close All Windows and Exit JVision?" message box.
