- Copy diagram to clipboard:
This option will copy the entire diagram to the clipboard. Once copied, you can paste the diagram on another application such as MS Word or PhotoShop (however you
will not be able to paste back into JVISION).
- Cut:
This option will cut the selected class(es) from the diagram. A copy of the class will be created on the clipboard for pasting.
- Copy:
This option will make a copy of the selected class(es) on the clipboard, and make it available for pasting.
- Paste:
This option will paste a class from clipboard into JVISION. You can paste the cut or copied class in the same diagram or in another Diagram Painter. However, if you try to paste
a class which already exists in the diagram, the class will be overwritten without confirmation.
- Select all:
This option will select all items on the diagram. This is useful if you want to move or copy an entire diagram.
- Select subclasses:
Selecting this option will select all subclasses in the diagram for the class currently highlighted. However, only one level below the highlighted class will be selected.
- Find:
This option will let you search for particular classes in a diagram. Please the Find help pages for more detail.
- Filter:
This option will let you set the filter to specify which types of items to display or hide in the diagram. This filter will be applied to the entire diagram. Please see the Filter a Diagram help pages for more details.
- Remove Filter:
This option will remove a currently set filter. This option is enabled only if a filter is already set. Please see the Filtering a Diagram help pages for more details.
- Properties:
This option will let you set the properties of the diagram, such as color and author information. Please the Properties of a Diagram help pages for more detail.
- Remove:
This option will remove any selected item in the diagram such as a class, association, line or note.
- Preferences:
This option will let you set and change the default settings for JVISION, such as the environment and options for the documentor. Please see the Preferences help pages for more detail.
