The JVISION online manual is loosely structured like a regular, hard-copy manual.  However, since it is an online manual, we have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to navigate around the JVISION manual. We do this by: Always letting you know exactly where you are. Allowing you to go backwards, forwards, up, or down, within the JVISION manual. A very accessible home page, no matter where you are, so you can return to the topmost level just in case you do get lost. Below is a sample screen shot of the JVISION online manual.  The screen is divided by black lines into sections and numbered.  See the list to the right of the image for section descriptions.

Below is the hiearchy of the JVISION Manual.  As you head towards a help page, you will get deeper in to the manual.   Home / Using JVISION /  Help pages / Class Diagrams /  Help pages / Use Case Diagrams /  Help pages / Manual Index / Site Map /

1. Sections Bar
On the left hand side, you will see 6 buttons. These buttons link to the main sections of the JVISION manual (main sections are shown underneath Site Structure)
 

2. Title
The big bold title at the top of the screen tells you which section or help page you are currently in, while the title in the blue box tells you which step of the help page you are currently on.

3. Navigation Bar
The Previous button will take you to back one page.  The Next button will take you forward one page.

The line beneath will tell you exactly where you are within the manual’s hierarchy.  Items in bold indicate your current position.  A “/” indicates a deeper level.  Clicking on a higher level will take you back to that level in the manual.

4. Main Window
This section is where the content of the help page appears. Directions on the current topic will appear here, as well as images relevant to the text.  Occasionally, there will be a link to a seperate help page if there is more information there.
